A vegetable tanned, hand riveted leather belt with a natural finish . This saddlery leather is a sturdy 4mm thickness great for jeans and chinos. The front face has a gorgeous, fine, natural finish with hand tooled edging and lining. The tan will age beautifully with time while the rear face of the belt keeps it’s natural finish. The belt comes with 7 holes and a 3” tongue from the last hole to the English Point end of the belt. The scent of the leather smells gorgeous and has a fine finish that will age beautifully.

The belt is available in 1 ½” width.

The buckle is attached by 4 hand beaten copper rivets which will last a lifetime. There is a single sturdy loop in the same leather forming a secure hold on the strap.

The West buckle is hand cast, polished and constructed in a family owned foundry in the West Midlands. The bright nickel finish is then hand plated in the foundry to a generous hard wearing thickness.

This is a truly serious and unique belt.

Care Instructions

Product Care — Handmade Leather Belt with Metal Buckle

Cleaning

Gently wipe the leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth to
remove dust and surface dirt. Do not soak in water or use harsh chemical
cleaners, bleach, or alcohol-based products, as these will dry out and damage
the leather.

Conditioning

Apply a small amount of leather conditioner or beeswax balm
every 2–3 months to keep the leather soft and prevent cracking. Buff in
circular motions with a clean cloth and allow to absorb fully before wearing.

Metal buckle care

Wipe the buckle with a dry cloth to remove fingerprints and
light tarnish. Avoid prolonged moisture contact to prevent rusting or
oxidisation. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal polish directly on coated
finishes.

Storage

Store your belt flat or loosely rolled in a cool, dry place
away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and humidity. Avoid folding sharply or
storing under heavy objects, which can cause permanent creasing.

What to expect from genuine leather

Handmade leather will naturally develop a patina over time —
a subtle deepening of colour and texture that is unique to each piece. This is
a hallmark of genuine full-grain leather and a sign of quality, not a defect.
Minor variations in grain and tone are characteristic of a handcrafted product.
