FREE UK SHIPPING BY COURIER ON ALL ORDERS

Please note that due to ongoing Covid, industrial action and International issues the delivery times may change. There can be delays at customs across the EU and non EU nations. The Royal Mail always checks our customs documentation to minimise this.

We are a small company and so can be flexible. We use Royal Mail where possible to support our local village Post Office. We don't have an annual fee programme so we can't normaly avoid charging below £45.00 unless we are on promotion.

UK customers are charged a standard £2.99 on any order under £45 with FREE SHIPPING on orders of £45 or more.

We offer same day dispatch on items ordered before 1pm Monday-Friday

We can offer pickup from Alderley Edge in some instances so please call when you order and we can refund the postage.

Europe

TAX

We are a small company so do not charge VAT.

Regarding parcels sent from us to EU countries, the EU guidelines state: Customs Duty is not due for goods, provided directly to the buyer when their value does not exceed 150 euros.

Russia: Orders going to Russia Belarus and Ukraine are suspended.

Republic of South Korea: Customers will receive an FTA document with their parcel, all orders requiring this document will take one additional working day to dispatch.

We cannot deliver to Indonesia, PO Boxes or BFPO addresses.

Orders made before 1pm, Monday - Friday, will be sent that day*; orders received after 1pm will be sent out on the next business day.

International delivery times vary; Europe is generally 2-3 working days from date of despatch, Russian Federation & the rest of the world is generally 4-7 working days from despatch (subject to customs & duty procedures beyond our control).

How long does delivery take?

Orders was made before 1pm, Monday - Friday, will be sent that day*; orders received after 1pm will be sent out on the next business day. It should arrive the following 2 - 6 business days.

International delivery times vary, Europe is generally 2-6 working days from date of despatch, The rest of the world is generally 4-7 working days from despatch (subject to customs & duty procedures beyond our control).

How do I know if my order has been shipped?

You will receive an email dispatch confirmation to confirm your goods have been despatched, it will also contain a tracking link for next day deliveries and international packages.

Changing the delivery address.

For online orders, there is the option to ship to a different address than the one at which your card is registered. For security, this service is discretionary. We reserve the right to only ship to the billing address, or verify details with our customers before shipping to a different address. If you have made a mistake with your delivery details contact us immediately. We will try to amend them. Orders placed by telephone must be shipped to the billing address. If the order has already left our office, the delivery address cannot be changed.

Covid Policy

Regarding our Covid delivery protocol, our trusted delivery partners (mainly Royal Mail) have their own stringent guidelines which they follow.

Additional information

Occasionally we may carry out security checks on orders. If you have been asked to supply additional information please remember that we cannot begin the dispatch process until the information is received.

Customs & import charges

Customs and import duties will be charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid directly by the recipient of the parcel.

We have no control over these charges, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country we cannot tell you what the cost would be.

If any parcels returned due to customs charges being higher than expected, we reserve the right to refund the transaction less costs incurred.

Orders not received.

International shipments can occasionally be held up in customs or there can be delays between countries. If you’re an international customer who’s order hasn’t arrived after 7 working days from despatch, please contact info@meccanicacycles.com

Please check that you have not got a card from the couriers.

Returns

We are a small company so we can be pretty flexible depending on the reason for returns. Just give us a call on 0 (+44) 1625 585589.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we usually can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item has to be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Non-returnable items:

Sending your return.

To return your item, please call first or email for the shipping address which is also on the returns form. Please use the returns form - we need a reason please before we can refund. Please always get proof of posting.

You will be normally responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item if it's not faulty. Shipping costs are usually non-refundable if it is a 'fit only' issue but we're quite flexible - please just give us a call on 0 (+44) 1625 585589.

 If you bought the item using PayPal in the UK they will refund up to 12 purchases. You can register here - just paste this line into your browser.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £75, you may want to consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

Applicabe refunds will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a 7 days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable).

If you haven’t received a refund in 7 days, first please check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges

If you need to exchange it for the same item, please call us or send us an email at info@meccanicacycles.com.

Gifts

If the item was purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will be advised about your return.
