Meccanica made the annual trip to Race Retro at Warwickshire’s Stoneleigh Park last month, Europe’s No.1 historic motor sport show. The show covers all the bases whether your interests are in bikes, single seater racing cars, Sports Racing cars, Saloon Car racing, Rallying or Trials cars; they were all there.
There were also several race and rally driving schools over the weekend together with numerous specialist parts and tuning specialists. Automotive art was everywhere with even an artist painting with radio controlled cars…
In this section we deal with the aesthetically beautiful cars in the Hall of Fame centring on the Le Mans 24 hour race. Form really does follow function and is one of the inspirations for Meccanica clothing.
